Liana likes to match clothes with Mashell. she picks out their school outfit. 🙂 sometimes Mashell is willing to go with the matching but at other times, she thinks only little girls match clothes. 🙂
we watched Monster University for family movie night, its a good one.
found this bed frame on craigslist for Mashell and she wanted to paint it.
but first, SCRUB AND SAND…I like her color choice. lime green
she looks cute in this hairstyle I think, but when I took this picture and showed it to her, she cried so hard and said she only wants a curly ponytail. 🙂
I just threw whatever I had on hand together and made these Coconut Oatmeal Banana Cookies. they were so good, even better with coffee! yumm
this junior chef: she came back from school and made herself scrambled eggs and tomato soup..all by herself! I like it when she likes to cook.
and with two kids in baseball, we sometimes eat sunflower seeds for breakfast. 🙂
she insisted we go to McDonalds, right after I went to the gym, I felt so guilty but its one of those little things that surely makes us both smiley and happy. 🙂 its the moment that counts, right?
I made two pretty flowers.
and lastly…another beautiful sunset!
I noticed how much the kids are eating lately…it’s been A LOT! sometimes I feel like I just bought a loaf of bread yesterday and its gone today already.
The other day I bought a 3 lb bag of Halo oranges with all 3 girls with me in the car, and it didn’t even make it home with half of it. The day before that, I took Ava to the Safeway and she wanted to get blackberries which was $7 for 1 lb, (crazy Cali price) it didn’t even last that day.
This week I went to the grocery store about 10 times, BUT not my normal main grocery shopping, and I still don’t know what to make for dinner. I even went 2 times in one day, and when I got home, still wondering what to eat. I lose my appetite sometimes and when I do I just don’t feel like cooking at all. (poor kids and husband)
I usually do my grocery shopping in a bigger town, which is about a 30 minute drive and I can get a week worth of groceries too. But I’ve been putting it off so tomorrow for real I am going grocery shopping. I cannot wait for summer so we can pick our own and free blackberries right in front the house. and maybe I’ll plant some vegetables too like cucumber and tomato. crossing my fingers.
UPDATED: Ava was so patient today at the grocery stores, Costco, Winco and an Asian store! She’s my super shopping partner.
confession: we go to Costco just for the samples. 🙂 sometimes.
Yay! we did it. now what’s for dinner? 🙂 hoping all these can last at least couple weeks. sometimes I forget there’s 6 mouths to feed in this house. 🙂
CEREAL LOVERS! they eat cereal like candies.
till next time!
The weather has been fairly nice lately, so that means lots of time in the (front) yard. And we’ve taken lots and lots of picture so I have to put it out for all to see.
this one is like a monkey, always swinging and doing tricks on this rope I made for Ava to swing on, and she even took out the board for swinging so she can do tricks like this one…hanging upside down.
I was going to build a sand box for Ava but we do not want to kill the grass and plus the beach is only 5 minute drive away so we’ll just have to wait to go to the beach, Ava! she even tried to help me nail the boards together.
first lily to bloom. soo pretty i love it.
I found this hammock at a grocery store so unexpectedly and so happy at the same time. and the best part was it costs only $7.99 compare to the string one we almost bought about 2 weeks ago that costs $50. this is a fabric hammock and it is so comfortable.
so comfortable that she fell asleep on it. soo cute even when sleeping.
even her dirty not so little foot is cute too. 🙂
Mashell found this slug and took pictures of it. She even wrote a story about it, she spent a good half or could be more than that and just sat and observed this thing with a pen and a notebook in her hands. This thing blows bubbles! Cool and weird!
I like being outside, gardening and just cleaning the yard. its my Happy Place.
